Zbynek Loebl specialises in the field of Internet law and legal aspects of ICT and technology projects. An expert in on-line dispute resolution, Zbynek Loebl focuses also on legal issues related to the protection of privacy and on on-line security, on-line financial services, on-line gambling, on-line gaming, etc.
Zbynek has recently managed a project on establishing a global centre for domain name dispute resolution (ADR.EU) of the Arbitration Court Attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. Zbynek has represented large Czech and international companies and public authorities in the negotiation for significant IT contracts in the Czech Republic and abroad.
He is a Panellist of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center in Geneva for the resolution of domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and of the Arbitration Court Attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic both for disputes related to .eu domain names and in standard arbitration proceedings.
He is a member of IT Law Europe – an independent association of European lawyers focusing on technology law, a representative of the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic in the global International Technology Law Association, and an active member of the IP Constituency of ICANN (ICANN is an organisation managing worldwide Internet).
In 2008 and 2009, he was listed in International Who’s Who of E-Commerce and Internet Lawyers and in 2010 in International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers.
